iPhone 6S full step-by-step assembly

As we are people by word, here we bring the second part of the post in which we will explain the complete process of mounting Apple’s iPhone 6S.

It is a long process and for us to deceive ourselves, it is one of the longest repairs within this world. But it’s worth it if you want your iPhone 6S to look this way:

Let’s try to make the post as complete as possible trying not to get too long, let’s start:

  1. Antenna Flex:

The first step we have to do is to place the chassis and stick the top iPhone 6S antenna flex by framing it with the screw hole on the top left.

  1. SIM tray pin:

Now we will screw the pin from the SIM tray to the chassis of the iPhone 6S, this screw is different from the rest since it makes the pin game so that it can rotate.

  1. Side magnets:

The next step is to mount the side magnets and screw the iPhone 6S chassis, these carry a unique position, because if we put them upside down then the other components will not fit.

  1. Volume flex and power:

Let’s go for the longest and tedious step by which you have to arm yourself with patience and tomorrow to finish it, we will mount the side buttons, mute switch, power button, noise canceling microphone and camera flash, yes, all in one iPhone 6S flex:

First we will place the buttons over the holes and overlay the flex by framing with the holes of the screws.

Once framed we will screw the flex to the chassis making sure it stays secure, without oversqueezing the screws to make the button press smooth.

Once the volume and mute buttons are screwed, we move on to the iPhone 6S power button which will follow the same process as the volume ones.

Then we will stick the flash and noise-cancelling microphone into position and put the metal cover screwed to cover them.

  1. Vibration:

The next thing we have to ride is the vibrator which is located on the top left above the iPhone 6S antenna flex that we place at the beginning, once placed in position we will screw it to the chassis.

  1. Flex headphones, lightning jack, microphone and iPhone 6S bottom speaker:

Now we move to the bottom of the device to mount the flex headphone jack, lightning connector, microphone and bottom speaker:

First we place the metal tray on the chassis as follows.

Once placed we overlay the flex to frame the screw holes and start screwing.

Place the iPhone 6S bottom speaker leaving it overlaid.

Once placed in position we start to screw the flex to the chassis.

  1. Insert motherboard:

The next thing is to place and screw the motherboard, but first it is essential to connect the coaxial antenna on the back of the board before placing the board in place if charging is not working iphone 6 charger repair.

Connect the top coaxial antenna on the back of the motherboard.

Place the iPhone 6S Motherboard making sure it stays in position correctly.

Screw the Base Plate to the chassis.

  1. Connect Flex to the Baseboard:

Once the motherboard is screwed we will connect the lower antenna and all flexes to it:

  • Connect the lower antenna.
  • Connect the lower flex of iPhone 6S to the motherboard.
  • Connect the Rear Camera to the Baseboard.

We connect the power Flex to the Baseboard.

  1. Place battery and metal cover:

Place the Battery in the socket and connect the flex to the Baseboard.

We screw the metal cover to the Base Plate.

  1. Mounting the Backlight Cover:

We went on to set up the phone screen. The first thing is to place the backlight cover by screwing the screen frame.

  1. Place Home and Touch ID button:

Place Home Button Flex over the bottom hole of the screen.

Place metal cover and screw to the screen frame.

  1. Paste proximity sensor flex and speaker:

Now we’ll stick the proximity sensor flex, front camera and microphone to the top of the screen. To make it easier we recommend first placing the microphone on the screen membrane and then overlaying the camera:

  • Place top microphone on the membrane.
  • Overlay front camera to paste the sensor and speaker contacts.
  • Position top speaker.
  • Place metal cover of the top Speaker.

Screw cover to the screen frame.

  1. Connect the display to the Baseboard:

Let’s connect the display to the Baseboard:

Support the screen on the chassis at the top to connect the flex onto the Motherboard.

Once all the flexes are connected we have to fit the screen frame on the chassis leaving the screen semi-closed.

Connect the home button over the lower flex connector.

Place metal cover of the Home button connector.

  1. Close the screen:

Now we will close the screen by exerting a slight and continuous pressure around the frame of the screen from the top to the bottom.

  1. Attach Pentalobe Screws:

Finally we will place the pentalobe screws on the bottom of the device and screw them.
